All about Oncare Acute

Indicated for animals with a recent oncological diagnosis, high systemic inflammation or autoimmune diseases in the acute phase, its formulation was designed to integrate veterinary clinical protocols without compromising the effect of other ongoing treatments.

✓ Systemic anti-inflammatory modulation in the acute phase
✓ Support for the control of oxidative stress
✓ Formulated to integrate veterinary clinical protocols

  • Animals recently diagnosed with oncological disease, including carcinomas, mastocytomas, and other rapidly progressing cancers in dogs and cats
  • Active phase of tumor growth requiring intensive metabolic support
  • High systemic inflammation associated with tumors in cats or dogs
  • Autoimmune and immune-mediated diseases with intense inflammatory components
  • Complementary support in veterinary protocols that require immune modulation, such as chronic degenerative diseases

Pillar 1: Systemic anti-inflammatory modulation
Oncare Acute acts on the mechanisms of systemic inflammation that accompany tumour development. Curcumin, green tea polyphenols, and naringin work together to reduce the inflammatory load, creating a metabolic environment less favourable for uncontrolled cell growth.

Pillar 2: Immune regulation and adaptogenic support
Astragalus membranaceus and Ganoderma lucidum are adaptogens with documented action in modulating the immune response. In animals with carcinoma or tumours, the immune system's ability to recognise and respond to abnormal cells is crucial. These ingredients support this function without overburdening the body.

Pillar 3: Acute phase oxidative stress control
Cordyceps sinensis and green tea polyphenols contribute to the control of oxidative stress, one of the main factors that accelerates tumour progression and worsens the inflammatory state. Antioxidant support in the acute phase reduces cellular damage and supports organic resilience during treatment.

  • Progressive reduction of visible signs of discomfort and inflammation
  • Increased vitality and disposition throughout the day, even during the treatment phase
  • Improved appetite and digestive tolerance
  • More stable general condition, with fewer episodes of debility
  • More balanced immune response, visible in the clinical progression monitored by the veterinarian
  • Reduction of oxidative damage and control of inflammation in animals with acute exacerbation of autoimmune diseases

Comparison of our tumor support supplements in cats and dogs

  • Oncare Acute: formulated for the active and acute phase of oncological disease. Intensive modulation with clear indication in contexts of high systemic inflammation or active tumor growth, including support during chemotherapy.
  • Oncare Chronic: formulated for the chronic and less acutely symptomatic phase. Indicated in animals with FeLV, FIV, chronic bronchitis, autoimmune or immune-mediated diseases, or in oncological remission, where the goal is long-term maintenance of immune and metabolic stability.

Oncare Acute was developed for when the body needs it most, when the demands are highest and every day of support counts.

Standard dose:

  • Up to 10 kg: 1/2 tablet per day
  • Between 10 and 25 kg: 1 tablet per day
  • Between 25 and 50 kg: 2 tablets per day
  • Above 50 kg: 3 tablets per day

Method of administration:May be administered directly or mixed with food. In the context of a veterinary clinical protocol, the dosage may be adjusted by the responsible veterinarian.

Compatibility:May be combined with an intestinal support supplement to preserve microbiome integrity during treatment. After the acute phase, the protocol may transition to Oncare Chronic.

Storage:Store in a dry place, in the original packaging, at a temperature below 25ºC. Protect from direct sunlight and heat.

Warning:Keep out of reach of children. Does not replace veterinary care when indicated.

- Astragalus membranaceus (400 mg): an adaptogenic plant with documented effects on immune response modulation. It supports lymphocyte function and contributes to organic resistance during periods of increased clinical demand.

- Curcumin complex (4 mg): derived from Curcuma longa, with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It acts on inflammatory signalling pathways that favour the tumour microenvironment.

- Ganoderma lucidum (60 mg): a medicinal mushroom with immunomodulatory and adaptogenic properties. It supports the regulation of the immune response without overstimulating the immune system.

- Cordyceps sinensis (40 mg): a mushroom with antioxidant action and metabolic support in the acute phase. It contributes to the control of oxidative stress and cellular resilience during treatment.

- Naringin, a citrus bioflavonoid (40 mg): a flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It complements the action of curcumin in modulating systemic inflammation.

- Green Tea Polyphenols (80 mg): broad-spectrum antioxidant compounds. They contribute to the control of oxidative stress and cellular protection in the context of oncological disease.

How does Oncare Acute work

Dr. Someia explains how this product works and how it affects your pet. If you are unsure whether this is the ideal supplement, you can ask SofIA and receive a complete strategy tailored to your pet's symptoms.

Symptom

Cancer in dogs and cats: when support matters

A diagnosis of cancer in dogs and cats naturally completely changes the owner's concern for the animal. The question that arises almost immediately is: what can I do, besides conventional medication, to help my pet live better?

Oncare Acute was developed to answer this question with scientific rigor. It does not replace the veterinary protocol: it integrates with it. The formulation acts on three simultaneous fronts: modulation of systemic inflammation, support for immune regulation, and control of oxidative stress. These are the three mechanisms that most influence the progression and well-being of the animal in the acute phase of oncological disease.

Within the Toula strategy, Oncare Acute is positioned as the first step in a structured protocol. It can be combined with intestinal support to preserve the integrity of the microbiome during treatment, it can integrate protocols with CBD oils to expand analgesic and anti-inflammatory support, and it can precede a maintenance phase after clinical stabilization. The idea is simple: the animal does not need and should not face the disease with only conventional medication. It needs a support ecosystem.

Frequently Asked Questions about Oncare Acute

Yes. Oncare Acute was formulated precisely to support the animal throughout the active phase of treatment. The ingredients, including Astragalus membranaceus and Ganoderma lucidum, have a documented safety profile for continuous use and do not present toxicity. We always recommend monitoring by a specialized veterinarian according to the protocol, especially when other medications are being administered simultaneously.

Supplementation with Oncare Acute can be compatible with chemotherapy protocols. Some ingredients, such as green tea polyphenols and curcumin, have studied interactions with certain oncology drugs, so we recommend that you seek specialized veterinary advice.

The effects of oncological supplementation depend on the animal's clinical state, the type and stage of the tumor, and the parallel protocol in progress. In general, pet owners begin to observe signs of increased vitality, improved disposition, and better food tolerance between two and four weeks of continuous use.

Oncare Acute was developed for oncological and inflammatory support, but its mechanism of action—immune modulation and control of systemic inflammation—may be clinically relevant in cases of canine leishmaniasis with intense inflammation or immune compromise. Leishmaniasis causes a significant systemic inflammatory response, sometimes leading to systemic vasculitis, and support with ingredients like Astragalus membranaceus can be beneficial as a complement to conventional treatment. We always recommend validation with the veterinarian managing the case.
